Lately I been getting comments on my youtube about people saying "YOU SUCK!" and other "nice" comments with my game videos. And I also had to deal with people (mostly at Armored Core Online) who feel they need to be "gods" and put everyone else down. These... are the Hardcore Gamer. Hardcore Gamers are the most rude and assanine beings to ever be part of the gaming world. These people need to be the best and need to let everyone else know that too. It's really funny when they aren't willing to accept that people below their "skill" level play the same game they do. This is where I believe console and PC gaming is more of a sport than a recreation. You see with "Sports" (I love me quotes) it's all about "I gotta win. And you all suck." But with Recreational games, it's really "let's have some fun." Basically the hardcore gamers try to ween out competition in gaming by insulting and harassing other players into leaving. I mention this because recently a "nice" comment appeared on one of my Armored Core videos at Youtube. The video was really about me trying out newer styles of combat. It never was intended to display "pwnage." But this guy feels he has to say something because I know I'm not that good at games. His comment comes along the lines of... "It doesn't matter what parts you use. This wasn't even a good fight. I could beat him in a quarter of the time. Keep dreaming kid." You won't see the actual comment because I removed it. Bad boys get added to my block list and never get to see my videos again =^-^=.
